NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION
Please take notice that the Jackson County Water Association shall conduct a special election to fill the vacancy on the Board of Directors of the Jackson County Water Association, District F, created by the death of Verl Hisel. The special election shall be held January 8, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the Jackson County Extension Conference Center (located at 1296 Main St., McKee, KY 40447). Any interested and qualified candidate shall declare their candidacy by completing the proper form(s) at the office of the Jackson County Water Association. The office is located at 200 Beulah Lake Road, McKee, KY 40447, and it is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The deadline to declare candidacy is December 31, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. For further information, please contact Sammy Creech at (606) 287-7000, or visit the office of the Jackson County Water Association.
